Position Overview

Specialist, Qtly Transformation & Innovation – Temporary Full‑time at Parkwood Institute Mental Health Care, London, ON.

Salary: $44.95–$52.87 per hour.

Position Details

This temporary full‑time position will extend until June 30, 2027.

Role will provide quality improvement and project management support to sponsor managers and directors for small‑to‑medium scale projects, initiatives, or workstreams that are part of larger projects led by more senior project roles.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health, social science, or business‑related profession.
  • Certification required in one of the following: Quality Improvement, LEADS, Lean Six Sigma (yellow belt), Lean, TPS (Toyota Production Systems Training), Risk Management, Change Management, or Project Management Professional certification.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with extensive knowledge in project management principles and tools at an advanced level.
  • Systems thinker, with experience leading small‑to‑medium projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated application of change management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience providing facilitation of multidisciplinary working groups.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to collaborate with support teams.
  • Effective oral presentations, written reports, and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and activities effectively.
  • Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with timelines.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing small‑to‑medium sized projects.
  • Hospital‑based experience in quality improvement, clinical service redesign, and organizational change management would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a health‑related or quality improvement and patient safety related field.
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset.

Immunization Requirements
