Job summary
A logistics company is seeking 5 Dispatchers in Winnipeg, Manitoba, for a full-time position. The role involves receiving service requests, dispatching personnel, and monitoring driver routes and workloads. Candidates should possess a high school graduation certificate and strong English communication skills. Qualifications
- Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- High school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience is an asset but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Receive requests for service.
- Process and transmit information and instructions.
- Dispatch personnel.
- Advise drivers of route and traffic problems.
- Communicate with drivers and pick-up/delivery locations.
- Monitor driver workloads and locations.
- Maintain vehicle operator work records.
- Generate reports on mileage, fuel use, and repairs.
