Job summary
A leading power generation company is seeking Operations Technician Co-op Students for a 4-month role in Sarnia. Candidates will learn day-to-day operations, shadow Field Operators, and ensure plant safety and efficiency. Successful applicants should be enrolled in a College Power Engineering Program and have a strong safety orientation. Qualifications
- 1 year of the program completed and returning to school next semester.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all plant systems consistent with Technical Standards and Safety Act requirements.
- Perform routine water tests and manage water chemistry operations.
- Troubleshoot plant systems and take corrective actions when required.
