This is a founder-level creative and technical leadership role. As Master of Play, you are the core architect of Infinite Play Studios. Your vision drives every system, sensation, and interaction—shaping worlds, engines, emotions, and leading with a blend of artistic and engineering expertise.

Minimum commitment : 20 hours / week. If that’s not feasible, this isn’t the right opportunity for you.

This is an equity partner role. That means :

• No upfront cash compensation
• Equity (shares) at founding partner level (vesting standard)
• Future token-based rewards (pending legal review)
• Salary activates with revenue-based milestones
• Remote-first, asynchronous, prototype-and-play development model

Overview

We’re seeking a Master of Play to serve as the visionary founder, system architect, and execution leader for Infinite Play Studios — an experimental, cutting-edge game development unit within Anime Universe.

You will set the vision and architecture for our proprietary technology stack and lead the development of original IPs.

What You’ll Own

• Architect the studio’s vision, roadmap, and philosophy across all projects
• Direct development of engine, interface, gameplay, and AI systems
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and simulation architects
• Make final decisions on game feel, immersion, and feedback loops
• Scale and synchronize creative teams across IPs and tech R&D
• Establish rituals for iteration, system design, and cross-disciplinary alignment

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in game development, with experience in gameplay systems, engine design, or AI
• Proven leadership from pre-production to post-launch
• Expertise in architecture and coding (RUST, C++, C#, scripting)
• Experience with emotion-driven systems, simulation, and narrative gameplay
• Understanding of VR/AR, experimental interfaces, and immersive UX
• Strong aesthetic and design sense—your code conveys emotion
• Bonus: proprietary engine/language development; IPs in anime, sci-fi, or mythic genres
