Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Toronto is seeking a Civil / Tunnel Engineer to join their specialist team. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in civil engineering and 5 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on tunnel design and analysis. The role involves tasks such as structural analysis and writing specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is advantageous, and excellent communication skills are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a master’s degree in civil engineering required.
- Excellent English language skills; French is an asset.
- Working experience of minimum five to ten years in structural engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Write reports and specifications for project-specific design.
- Lead internal communication of design principles between teams.
