Job summary
A leading air navigation service provider is seeking experienced Airport/Aerodrome Air Traffic Controllers for the Kelowna Tower in Canada. This full-time role involves managing traffic, ensuring safety, and requires a minimum of 3 years of licensed experience. - A minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed Air Traffic Controller in a complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess traffic, plan flow and separate aircraft.
- Issue clearances and instructions.
- Coordinate movement of arriving and departing traffic.
- Enter flight data electronically or in writing.
- Operate and monitor electronic equipment.
- Provide radar service to VFR aircraft.
- Integrate aircraft performing exercises outside normal traffic patterns.
- Respond to emergencies.
