This role is ideal for a hands‑on analyst who enjoys working close to operations, building financial models, and delivering insights that directly impact performance.
- Support monthly forecasting activities, including revenue, margins, overhead, EBITDA, and cash flow
- Assist with the annual budgeting process through detailed financial modelling and consolidation
- Analyze monthly financial results and prepare management and board‑level reporting
- Develop project‑level profitability analysis and performance dashboards
- Track KPIs including labor productivity, margin performance, backlog, pipeline, working capital, and cash conversion
- Partner with project managers on job costing, change orders, margin analysis, and revenue recognition
- Support M&A analysis, due diligence, and scenario planning
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation, and financial controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA (or in progress) preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
- Experience in construction, engineering, or project‑based environments strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills required; Power BI or similar BI tools an asset
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, and project costing
- Experience with Adaptive and Viewpoint considered an asset
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with operational and senior stakeholders
- High‑impact analytical role with exposure to senior leadership and board reporting
