The Job: Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst , you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, partnering with the product owner to gathering and documenting user stories from stakeholders, developing data-driven recommendations, and acting as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure new or improved solutions meet organizational goals; including oversee project implementation, conduct testing, create reports, and foster communication to drive change and increase efficiency within an organization.

  • Analyze data to understand performance, identify trends, and provide insights and actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Develop and propose solutions, which can include new software, process changes, or hardware, to align with business goals.
  • Produce clear and well-structured documentation, such as business requirements documents, use cases, and reports.
  • Assist with project management tasks, including developing project plans, monitoring performance, and managing resources.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the defined requirements and business needs.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate business performance and insights to various audiences.
  • Support the introduction and management of change within the organization, acting as an agent of change to improve operations.
  • Collaborate with and influence various stakeholders, including business leaders, users, and technical teams, to support projects and initiatives.
What You Bring :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years' experience with Business Analysis or Solutions Consulting required. Analytical person who will support delivery of IT projects, defining and writing requirements and specifications across Enterprise Corporate systems project portfolios, deliver organizational performance metrics, manage documentation and build/create presentations and training materials.
  • Supporting business partners to develop roadmaps and business cases.
  • Experience in Financial services lending industry.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar.
  • Srong communication , analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills to succeed.
  • Understanding business processes and needs (business acumen), excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder interaction, critical thinking to identify issues and propose solutions, and the ability to analyze and visualize data using tools like SQL and BI platforms.
  • Adaptability, facilitation, and stakeholder management are also vital.
