A leading financial service provider in Quebec seeks a passionate Student – Investment Performance Analyst. You will support investment activities, prepare reports, improve evaluation processes, and develop performance reports. As a Student – Investment Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in providing direct support to investment activities, specifically in functions related to performance evaluation.

As a Student – Investment Performance Analyst, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Prepare detailed reports on investment performance for clients and portfolio managers;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance evaluation processes and methodologies used by the team;
Assist analysts in implementing quality controls on critical data;
Develop and automate performance reports using data visualization tools;
Participate in various cross-functional projects aimed at improving performance evaluation processes.
We are looking for someone who :
Is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in finance or a related field;
Is available to work at least every morning from Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., during academic sessions;
Is available to work full-time during the summer;
Is recognized for their rigor, autonomy, and attention to detail;
Stands out for their proactivity and excellent team spirit;
Demonstrates strong ability to synthesize and communicate information clearly;
Is known for their knowledge of financial markets and various asset classes;
Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role requires consulting English documentation, participating in video conferences, exchanging emails with English-speaking colleagues, and performing tasks within a pan-Canadian team on a daily basis;
Has programming experience (SQL, Python) – an asset;
Is interested in obtaining a certification such as CFA, FRM, CIPM, or similar – an asset.
