Job summary
A Canadian non-profit organization is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join their administrative team. This full-time permanent role involves managing financial data, handling vendor payments, and executing payroll. Qualified candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. - Minimum 5 years of accounting and full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and computerized accounting systems.
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid Canadian work permit required.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial data flow and entry, maintain the General Ledger.
- Handle vendor payments, invoice verification, and receivables collection.
- Perform payroll for staff and seasonal artists, preparing all journal entries.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, and accounts.
