A design and architecture firm in Vancouver is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain financial integrity and foster teamwork. The role is approximately 20 hours per week, offering balance and collaboration to enhance accounting efficiency. Candidates should have strong Quickbooks Online skills, a CPA designation is an asset, and a minimum of five years of related experience. - Demonstrated proficiency with Quickbooks Online + MS Office Suite.
- Minimum five (5) years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Legally permitted to work in Canada.
Responsabilités
- Establish and document efficient processes and systems for accounting operations.
- Assist accounting team members and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of various taxes.
- Support bi-weekly payroll processing and prepare annual total compensation reports.
- Generate monthly financial statements and present reports.
