Qualifications

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned veterinary hospital and we are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Ophthalmology team in Brandon, Florida. Responsibilities
  • Assist our board-certified Ophthalmologist in performing eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, and planning treatments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Perform diagnostic tests including tonometry, fluorescein staining, digital imaging, and ultrasound as needed.
  • Monitor anesthetized patients during surgical procedures and assist in post-operative care.
  • Educate pet owners about eye health, treatment plans, and medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in veterinary ophthalmology.
