Qualifications

• Five years management experience in safety and training or occupational health and safety role.
• Experience managing a unionized workforce.
• Must have a clean BZ driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Occupational Health and Safety Programs.
• Lead and direct safety and training processes.
• Ensure compliance with provincial/federal regulations.

Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Knowledge of provincial and federal safety regulations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized

Strong leadership skills

Education

College Diploma or equivalent in occupational health, safety, training and transportation

CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) Designation preferred
