Remote in-field position
Compensation Range: $81,000 CAD to $89,000 CAD

What to Expect

This role reports to the National Channel Sales Manager – Health Food Stores (HFS) and is responsible for the effective management of the assigned territory within British Columbia to ensure that individual and team sales and trade spend goals as well as commercial execution objectives are achieved, including supporting education and tradeshow events. This is a field‑based role that requires conducting impactful, daily customer face‑to‑face sales calls, supplemented with some phone and virtual meetings where appropriate. Overnight travel and weekend work will be required occasionally. This position is an existing vacancy.

A day in the life
  • Plan and execute impactful sales calls to drive positive customer behavioural change and achieve sustainable, profitable territory sales growth.
  • Execute against territory level business and customer plans while achieving sales targets both individually and within teams.
  • Prioritize growth of existing strategic and key accounts while pursuing new business opportunities through drop‑ins and cold calls, to drive new client acquisition and territory expansion.
  • Effectively negotiate and execute store‑level promotional plans, purchases and displays, leveraging all available tools including pre‑approved allowances/discounts and coop, POP, etc.
  • Actively participate in meetings, events and conferences with appropriate follow up.
  • Adapt effectively to change in the internal and external business environment.
  • Adhere to all company principles, policies, including financial compliance.
  • Manufacturing Practices Responsibilities:
    • Receive and document each product complaint and immediately forward to Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs department.
    • Provide support in the notification of applicable accounts in the event of a product recall.
Role Requirements
  • 2+ years of successful retail sales or related business experience (background in health and wellness, nutrition, or supplements is an asset).
  • Post Secondary education in Business and or Science.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and use scientific and clinical information effectively to support the use of Nestlé Health Science and Specialty Vitamins, Minerals and Health Supplements products.
  • Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, effective time management, exceptional prioritization abilities, proficient in project management, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
  • Candidate should be open to frequent travel within the assigned territory, and occasional travel outside the territory.
