The Specialist, PC Insiders Marketing role provides tactical support for marketing campaigns and brand innovation. Reporting into the Manager, PC Insiders Marketing, this role is a key collaborator across multiple partner groups to ensure seamless delivery of marketing plans and programs that support the brand’s objectives and important metrics. They demonstrate their proximity to campaign-level strategy and campaign execution to inform standard processes for the broader marketing organization.
Campaign/Program Strategy: Supports the brand team in developing the marketing brief, including compiling consumer/business insights (e.g., insights from the Customer CoE) and pulling in relevant past campaign data to advise standard processes.
Campaign Planning: Supports in the planning process for small to moderate marketing campaigns; helping manage review cycles with senior decision-makers and working with partners to gather inputs to inform tactical strategy.
Campaign Execution - Creative: Supports the brand team in coordinating with internal/external agency counterparts, and other partners (e.g., Loblaw Media, Loblaw Digital, Divisional Marketing teams, Experiential Marketing, etc.) for the review and approval of creative; closely reviews creative against established brand guidelines, and aggregates feedback provided by collaborators.
Campaign Execution - Deployment: Coordinates campaign deployment, ensuring the launch and execution aligns to campaign objectives.
Optimization, Innovation & Best Practices: Proactively monitors in-flight campaigns for optimization opportunities, flags them to the team, and implements decisions; actions other execution-related needs from the Division/Merchant teams, or local store operations, as required
Reporting: Manages weekly campaign reporting and contributes to post-mortem process, including working with partners to compile campaign performance reports with key metrics, participating in post-mortem discussions, and documenting findings.
Sample Management: Oversees all sample operations, coordinating product ordering with Brands teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for accurate sample ordering.
Control Brand Programs: Supports the portfolio-level execution of Control Brand programs within the guidelines set by the CB marketing team.
1-3 years of experience in marketing or communications

Brand communications, creative & media strategy (traditional and digital media)
Knowledge of general marketing strategy and business principles
