Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial, Mining & Metal, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power or Nuclear plants/facilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Labrador City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight on a variety of projects related to structural engineering for our heavy industrial clients.

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight on structural engineering projects.
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
  • Perform structural analysis and design.
  • Prepare and review project reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with client representatives and contractors as required during construction phase.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or remediation.
  • Review and provide technical guidance on structural engineering standards and codes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Our essentials
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
