The Senior Operations Administrator is responsible for carrying out Investment Executive requests and inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner while ensuring that policies and industry regulations are adhered to, as well as Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Authorize withdrawals of cash and/or securities from client accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Approve the transfer of money and securities between accounts
  • Review transaction requests and any accompanying documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to processing said items
  • Provide continuing education for the Sales force, identify problems, and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Review and approve estate documentation, and approve foreign exchange conversions
  • Complete sundry duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Post Secondary Education & the completion of the Canadian Securities Course is preferred
  • Experience in the Financial services industry is preferred
  • A solid understanding of the wealth management business
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, WORD, and Excel
  • The ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
