Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and insightful Senior Market Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality market analysis, generating original investment strategy ideas, and communicating your views to clients through written reports, presentations, and direct interactions. You will be working closely with our founder, contributing to the thought leadership that shapes Rosenberg Research’s global voice. Position is in-office, located in downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and continually update proprietary financial market models
• Assist in forecasting of all asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities, and currencies.
• Present market strategy and outlook to clients via virtual meetings
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape research agenda and content strategy.
• Mentor and manage junior research staff, guiding their professional development and output.
• Stay on top of financial developments to anticipate market shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a role in the Financial Industry on either the buy side or sell side.
• Master's degree in Finance, Business or Economics
• Completion of the CFA designation is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of all asset classes in North America and international markets.
• Demonstrated strength in statistical, quantitative, and financial modeling.
• Proven ability to communicate market views effectively in both written reports and verbal presentations.
• Comfortable with public speaking; presentation skills highly desirable.
• Managerial experience and a strong mentoring mindset to support junior staff.
