Job description

Our mission as a Finance organization is to lead General Mills in creating strategies that maximize shareholder value, while flawlessly executing our fiduciary responsibility. As the Senior Financial Analyst on LCL and Costco, you will take on the opportunity to copilot with Sales to grow the business driving a healthy P&L and guiding the team to make sound business decisions and to demonstrate leadership skills. In this role, you will be the Finance expert for your customer business, owning the Customer P&L with your Sales partners while providing insights into your business to other cross‑functional teams in Strategic Revenue Management and in Business Unit Management. In this role, you will have the ability to demonstrate your strong controls mindset to help ensure SOX compliance. In this role, you will be reporting to a Senior Finance Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

You will work closely with a Customer Team partnering with Sales Leaders and Customer Account Managers to help deliver organizational goals by:

  • Applying financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on sustainable, profitable growth initiatives, and the internal & external performance of the customer.
  • Strategic partnership to influence decisions that deliver against short & long‑term customer strategies.
  • Finance Lead for Monthly Business Review process; analyzing performance results, drivers of change and key strategies.
  • Present to various levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership.
  • Leading monthly trade review process; champion a governance mindset through adherence to accounting standards & internal controls while delivering accuracy of monthly forecasting.
  • Partner to deliver the effective execution of customer agreements and Revenue Management Strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA, BBA, HBA, BCOMM or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • 3+ years of related experience in finance.
  • A critical thinker with the ability to make tradeoffs in a dynamic environment.
  • Great ability to communicate & translate financial analysis & insights in a succinct way.

  • Experience in CPG industry.
  • A team player with strong cross‑functional business partnerships and the ability to influence.
  • A track record of superior performance.
  • Strong application of technical/financial expertise.

The salary range for this position is $71,300 - $107,150 / Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
