Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst acts as a strategic business partner by supporting investment-related decision-making across the organization. With strong financial expertise, accurate modeling, and a deep understanding of operational dynamics, the Manager evaluates project profitability, develops clear business cases, and provides recommendations aligned with corporate strategy.

• Salary range 006: $ 95 900 to $ 119 900 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

Responsibilities

• Represent the Finance function within various cross-functional project teams.
• Understand project mandates and collaborate with stakeholders to gather relevant information for analysis.
• Conduct profitability analyses and develop comprehensive financial models.
• Draft clear and compelling business cases to support investment decisions.
• Ensure project participants understand key financial concepts and implications.
• Conduct post-investment analyses to assess outcomes and identify variances.
• Support the Director, Project Finance with various ad hoc mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree is an asset).
• CPA or CFA designation is considered an asset.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, project evaluation, or corporate finance.
• Strong command of financial principles and advanced financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with OBI or similar financial reporting tools.
• Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
