What You Will Do :

• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to identify business problems and develop solutions
• Design and plan business processes and system modifications
• Recommend improvements to support business activities
• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements and processes; communicate these effectively
• Create and oversee testing scenarios to ensure system requirements are met
• Develop business requirements documents and user stories
• Potentially lead and supervise other business analysts
• Understand systems and data to derive actionable insights
• Estimate time for project tasks
• Update process and procedural documentation
• Gain basic understanding of technical development cycles
• Support QA, UAT, and release phases
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned

What We Need :

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Degree in Business, IT, or related field
• Experience in the insurance industry, especially Insurtech or health insurance
• Certifications in Health Insurance domain (e.g., INS, LOMA, III) are advantageous
• Knowledge of requirements definition, technical translation, and Agile methodologies
• Skills in facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and UAT
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
• Basic knowledge of process documentation, system functionality, data integration, and workflows
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Technical writing skills are a plus
• Must be based in Canada and available to work CET hours
