FIND YOUR DRIVE at Parts for Trucks! We have an exciting new opening for a Regional Sales Manager to help grow our Ontario & Quebec parts sales operations. Based out of Eastern Ontario, this is your chance to shine while shaping Parts for Trucks’ expansion in the Ontario and Quebec markets.

Details:

  • Identify and help assess new customer opportunities and potential locations in Eastern Ontario and Quebec, including site development and lease negotiations.
  • Be an integral part of branch startup operations, from staffing to safety, inventory and sales plans.
  • Coordinate branch sales efforts across the region. Promote product lines and work closely with Branch Managers to evaluate metrics on specific lines and guide decisions on inventory.
  • Monitor branch sales and profitability, inventory management, policy compliance, and maintenance of buildings and equipment. Work towards achieving sales goals and improving profit margins.
  • Facilitate relationships between branch sales locations, the outside sales team and head office. Provide oversight and guidance, and decision making in extraordinary circumstances.
  • Evaluate and optimize store staffing levels in relation to sales volume, participate in staff performance management and related activities as required.
  • Review sales reports and stay informed on regional market developments. Implement regional sales plans and execute store level marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary training in business plus 8-10 years of combined experience in a management position and/or sales of industrial parts or products (e.g., automotive, truck, agricultural).
  • Leadership experience, preferably in a multi-location distribution/retail-wholesale environment, plus knowledge of the Ontario and Quebec market for aftermarket heavy-duty truck parts.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills are key, along with experience managing staff and building relationships with key customers.
  • Self-sufficient with computers including inventory control software. Able to read and analyze reports, market and financial data, etc.
  • Frequent travel will be required. The ideal candidate will be based in Eastern Ontario to facilitate efficient travel to regional locations on a weekly basis.
  • Bilingual (French/English) will be a key qualification.
