Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Possess a 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate.
  • Minimum 4 years of Operating experience.
  • Relevant experience in cyclic steam or SAGD thermal recovery heavy oil operations would be an asset.
  • Proficiency with computers is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of processing equipment.
  • Conduct operational rounds and log operator actions.
  • Assist new employees with coaching and training.
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance work.
  • Document housekeeping activities and corrective actions.
