Relocation support is available to the beautiful Okanagan area. Competitive salary in the range of $130,000 to $160,000 is offered.

Overview

Plant Manager — Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the Okanagan area looking for a Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of their busy and growing consumer goods manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Direct resources to establish and implement systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversight of improvement and compliance with quality, safety, food safety (HACCP).
• Minimize quality costs and internal errors.
• Team leadership, mentorship and management in a unionized environment across manufacturing, H&S, warehousing, quality.
• Work closely with head office for capex projects as required.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Post secondary education in operations, business or related field.
• 5 years of senior leadership in a consumer goods manufacturing facility.
• Unionized leadership experience is considered an asset.
• Strong systems knowledge.
• Experience working in a fast-paced leadership role with proven results.

Relocation support available to the beautiful Okanagan (Vernon / Kelowna area).

Salary: 130,000 – 160,000 range.
