Job description

We’re looking for a Piling Labourer to join our foundations team located just outside Logan Lake, BC. In this role, you’ll assist with safe and precise pile installations, working closely with experienced operators and contributing to a project that sets industry standards. Essential Responsibilities
  • Work alongside piling and equipment operators to ensure accurate placement and alignment of piles.
  • Perform general labourer tasks such as equipment spotting, upkeep, and site housekeeping.
  • Read and interpret engineered drawings and apply best practices in the field.
  • Participate in daily safety toolbox talks, worksite inspections, and hazard assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and assist in problem‑solving during pile installation.
  • Take a proactive role during pile installation and collaborate with drill rig and loader operators.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Piling labourer is an asset
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Successful completion of pre‑access drug and alcohol testing.
  • Relevant safety training and certifications (e.g., WHMIS, CSTS, or rig‑specific certifications).
Work Conditions
  • Project based position working fourteen days on and seven days off working 10 hours per day
  • Travel and living out allowance would be provided to those who qualify
  • Work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Extended health & wellness benefits provided by CLAC Alberta
  • Anticipated start date: January 2026
Compensation

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site‑based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
