Shifts: Evening visits (Private client) 8-10pm. Shift Types: Private Client.

Responsibilities

• As a PSW you will assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal care and hygiene (e.g., toileting, bathing, feeding), light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, nutrition shifts, reports and creating activity plans.
• Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported.
• Provide social / emotional support to clients and their families in a kind and understanding manner to seniors.
• Accompany clients and assist them with walking, exercise and mobility.

Qualifications

• Must have either a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate, be a Nursing student, Internationally Educated Nurse, or Health Care Aide.
• Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred.
• Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid First Aid / CPR Certificate is considered an asset.
