Overview

Castlegar District Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Patient Registration Clerk to join their team in Castlegar, B.C.

Hours of work are rotating days 08:30 to 16:30, 08:00 to 20:00 rotating.

What will you work on?

This position interviews patients, relatives and/or friends to obtain information required to complete the Patient Registration documentation and performs other related clerical duties. Identifies available bed booking options as requested. Provides information and directions to visitors and handles telephone inquiries such as patient room numbers and visiting hours. Responds to alarm panels by making announcements and/or telephone calls in accordance with the established procedures.

  • Your Resume outlining two year’s recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
