Responsibilities
  • Mirror match each part without exception using pictures and parts.
  • Conduct accurate data entry of vendor invoices and monitor the price differences.
  • Carefully monitor parts for inaccuracies or freight damage and develop a system for billing accordingly. Even minor damages can accumulate into significant income over time.
  • Inform the Production Manager immediately when damaged or inaccurate parts are received so they can be reordered.
  • Label every part with the appropriate repair order number or part label to facilitate identification and returns when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records by updating management through the system, computer, or both.
  • Store parts in appropriate bins until delivery to technicians is requested by the production manager.
  • Fill and organize parts carts according to standards and deliver to technicians when required.
  • Use parts carts for efficient movement of large parts orders, simplifying tracking by keeping the entire order with the job until delivery.
  • Maintain a complete inventory of nuts, bolts, clips, fasteners, and specialty items.
  • Dispose of leftover parts on the cart appropriately when returned, either by throwing away or returning them.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of the parts room, keeping it neat, clean, and organized.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in French and English is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Parts Department operations.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles related to Parts Department operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Ability to lead effectively and work well as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
