Overview

Operations Representative I - 18 Month Contract at Meridian Credit Union. The role involves fulfilling specialized retail investment requests on behalf of branch teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. You will interact with branch teams and cross-functional departments to build internal relationships and support Meridian’s strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Support Retail in the sale and fulfillment of all investment solutions
  • Execute complex activities such as transfers in / out, issuing and receiving cheques, RESP opening / management / deposits / withdrawals, RIF administration
  • Fulfill requests within timelines, verify documentation and transactions for accuracy
  • Investigate Member accounts and activities, manage transactions on multiple systems with precision
  • Resolve Member issues, manage resolutions and support branches with Member concerns to mitigate risks
  • Use policies to solve errors or omissions, stay updated and maintain policies, procedures, forms
  • Comply with regulations, handle correspondence and information discreetly

Experience
  • 1-3 years progressive experience in retail investment operations or a related field
  • Background education in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, or equivalent would be an asset
