We have a unique opportunity for a data master to join our team in the role of Media Sales Inventory & Revenue Analyst. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

Great strategies are built on a solid foundation of data. The Media Sales Inventory & Revenue Analyst will have the skills to transform raw numbers into a compelling narrative of opportunities, challenges, and growth. This position will author the reports and dashboards that help shape our sales strategy and drive our success. This successful candidate will ideally be based in Toronto, but consideration will be given to candidates located anywhere Stingray Radio has an office.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage available advertising inventory across radio.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system.
  • Provide regular updates on inventory availability and utilization to sales leadership.
  • Forecast future inventory to identify potential shortages or surpluses.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting.
  • Utilize reporting to generate insights on trends, performance, and activity.
  • Identify data-supported growth opportunities and insights that can be shared with sales leadership coast to coast.
  • Develop and support interactive dashboards that translate data into actionable, real-time insights for our sales and leadership teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Work with Vice President of Sales, Finance and / or other departments on an ad hoc basis to assist in the analysis and improvement of internal reporting, systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a sales, inventory management, or financial analyst role, preferably within the media or advertising industry. Experience in radio sales preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or statistics.
  • Technical proficiency in the WideOrbit software system.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling) and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience with BI tools for creating dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau).
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
