The Sales Concierge, Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) will work closely with the Account Manager(s), Clinical, Marketing and Operations to ensure positive customer relationships are established and maintained with key decision makers and influencers. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will provide sales support in British Columbia (supporting western provinces as needed), to the Account Manager(s) within their assigned territory and act as a primary customer point of contact for the assigned territory for day-to-day enquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Support Customers with inventory updates, backorder management, allocations, drop shipments, substitutions, product cross-referencing and rush shipments
  • Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within hospitals and with local distributors in the territory
  • On-site customer conversion support, when required
  • Sample order coordination
  • Processing of customer quotes
  • Support for regional conference planning, as required
  • Processing and dissemination of Notices of Conversion for supported territory
  • Management of BIC (BD In Service Consultant) travel and lodging including processing of payments, as required
  • Creation and dissemination to internal stakeholders of allocation and stock on hand reports, as required
  • Perform post conversion audits in assigned territory
  • Participate in 1 : 1 and / or monthly reviews with TMs and National Sales Manager
  • Overall Customer front line Support for Assigned Territory
  • Participation in RFP execution of the Pre, During and Post phases
  • Represent our value propositions to customer base within the territory with a thorough understanding of the customer and the portfolios
  • Uncover and share competitive intel and market insights
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
  • All other duties as required
Education And Experience
  • 2 years experience in a customer service, sales support, customer facing role within the healthcare industry
  • University or college degree
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a past clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years, as well as meet BD's auto safety standards
Knowledge And Skills
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time, including overnight travel
  • Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and manages priorities with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to get things done quickly
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a creative mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required in a variety of presentation settings : one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, and with senior leadership
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
  • Efficiently manages time and prioritizes tasks
  • Analyzes data to make informed decisions and strategies
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
  • Takes initiative, perseveres even in the face of obstacles and demonstrates passion for what they do
  • Proven problem-solving skills; uses logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with SAP and / or JDE is an asset
  • Adept with CRMs, specifically Salesforce.com, preferred
