We are looking for full-time, Position seeking long-term employment.

About the Position: A Laminator Operator’s primary output goal is to produce top quality material for the Slitting, Printing and Converting departments. Knowing how to read dockets to determine the specifications for each job is necessary for creating finished material that matches quality standards and customer requirements. Laminator Operators will use the information on the dockets to set up and run the lamination machine accurately and efficiently.

What you will do as a Lamination Operator:

  • Order the required materials from internal departments to complete each job.
  • Complete orders and assignments in a timely manner with high accuracy.
  • Meet and exceed company and customer quality standards.
  • Perform job checks of the final product for other Laminator Operators.
  • Set up required machine maintenance and perform routine preventative maintenance as per the process control sheets.
  • Completion of end of shift cleaning and organization of lamination station including, but not limited to, solvents, changing the garbage, and general tidying of the workstation.
  • Locate the process control sheet and use the settings as a starting point for the job.
  • Read dockets to verify specifications for the job.
  • Check the treat and load rolls with the correct orientation.
  • Set up glue stoppers as per the requirements for each job.
  • Pull up the job and check the glue weights.
  • Have a designated individual perform a job check.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Print Operations Manager.

Schedule: Flex Life Schedule

  • 12-hour shift, 3 days per week
  • Rotating every 2 weeks days and night (7:00AM to 7:00PM OR 7:00PM to 7:00AM)
  • Work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours*
  • 16 days off a month*
  • Must be able to reliably commute to work – own transportation.
