A healthcare laboratory in Canada is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I to handle daily processing, testing, and reporting of samples. Candidates must have completed an accredited MLT program and hold active registration with the CMLTA. Experience in Microbiology within the last two years is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, along with good time management abilities. Familiarity with Epic Beaker is an asset.
Description : As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Medical Laboratory Technologist (CSMLS) with current CMLTA registration or eligible for registration. Must have experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Microbiology within the last two (2) years or student practical training as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Microbiology within the last two (2) years. Proven interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team.
Demonstrates excellent organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. A strong team player with ability to perform duties independently and with others. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates good computer skills. Experience with Epic Beaker is an asset. Possesses excellent time management skills. Exhibits professionalism and accountability.
