Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a foreman or lead hand role.
  • Registered Plumbing Journeyperson certification required.
  • Must possess a clean driver's abstract.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain scheduled installations of building mechanical systems.

Your day-to-day will look like:
  • Organize & maintain scheduled installations of building mechanical systems
  • To install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner in accordance with Specifications, Drawings, Site Instructions, Approved Change Orders/Directives
  • Report directly to Superintendent for mentorship as needed
  • Diagnoses design issues regarding plumbing, gas, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying problems and needs necessary for the design intent to work properly
  • Supervise workers and projects, train or arrange training, coordinate manpower pertaining to the contract with the developer / general contractor
  • Responsible for testing all mechanical systems meeting local jurisdictions and engineer specifications
  • To impart to the Superintendent or Project Management team any efficiencies or cost saving measures felt necessary to maximize project effectiveness. To work in a safe and timely manner and report to the Site Supervisor/PM team any inability to do so
  • Ability to read an interpret drawings/schematics and specifications as required
  • Complete projects above the client and company’s expectations
  • Foster and grow relationships
  • Professional and courteous in both appearance and action
  • Self‑motivated and the ability to maintain productivity without supervision
  • Set goals and drive their completion
Qualifications, Technical and Interpersonal Skills

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in a foreman or lead hand role
  • Registered Plumbing Journeyperson
  • Basic security clearance, clean drivers abstract

Technical Skills:

  • Experienced in Safely working in and around construction sites
  • Knowledge and skills of industry standard safe work practices
