About This Opportunity

We are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. The IT Support Technician serves as an on-site technical resource dedicated to the Calgary Coca-Cola Bottling facility, while also providing remote support to other Coke Canada locations. The IT Support Technician is responsible for resolving manufacturing-related IT/OT issues and improving operational performance by providing supporting hardware, software, controls, networks, cybersecurity, and machine connectivity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist OT network systems and IT operations at the production facility, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement of operational performance.
  • Maintain regular communication—both written and in-person—with department heads, end users, and leadership to keep stakeholders informed of key OT network activities and support needs.
  • Provide on-site support for all IT hardware and software-related issues.
  • Image, configure, and deploy PCs and other IT hardware.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for IT issues at the manufacturing facility.
  • Provide remote support and escalation coverage for other Coke Canada sites as needed.
  • Ensure the health, stability, and functionality of OT network systems, including secure vendor remote access.
  • Support the management of the OT network system lifecycle, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and operational standards.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and Production facility by gathering site-specific requirements.
  • Assist with audits and compliance efforts related to OT systems, ensuring alignment with relevant cybersecurity and operational standards.
  • Coordinate and document IT/OT network-related training specifically for the manufacturing facility.
  • Create and maintain documentation for OT network systems, ensuring an organized and up-to-date library of technical resources.
  • Provide off-hours and on-call IT support as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • College diploma in Information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or a Bachelor’s Degree in these fields (preferred), is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT work experience is required, including at least 3 years of experience in OT network systems support and integration.
  • Experience managing or administering manufacturing process controls networks, OT/IT infrastructure within manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced understanding of network infrastructure, computer hardware, and enterprise architecture, with the ability to support complex IT/OT environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity, O365, Azure, Intune, MDM.
  • Ability to generalize manufacturing technology and solutions and effectively communicate complex solutions to leadership.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and system integrators, including specifying hardware and software for controls and managing related projects.
  • Knowledge of a variety of enterprise-grade network components including servers, managed switches, wireless LAN controllers, firewalls, PCs and peripherals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to other sites as needed, with a maximum travel requirement of 20%.
