Overview

for our Home Centre located in Strathclair, MB

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Director of Operations – Ag/HABS/Westman Aerial, the Home Centre Manager provides leadership, direction and oversight to Home Centre operations, programs, and policies to meet budgeted goals and growth objectives. Responsible for building strong customer relationships and ensuring safety and environmental policies, procedures and standards are achieved. May provide input into tactical planning and plan, monitor, and manage a variety of internal projects from initiation to completion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing direction and leadership to the Home Centre team, including project estimator
  • Overseeing the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure standards are achieved
  • Promote and ensure adherence to brand standards, marketing efforts, image standards, safety, and asset protection
  • Responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions
  • Manage the incoming and outgoing inventory of products and ensure all safe handling procedures are met
  • Inventory and expense management of the location
  • Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including leadership experience
  • You have a Grade 12 high school education
  • You lead people in a way that fosters teamwork, efficiency and growth while ensuring accountability
  • You have excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • You find ways to optimize work processes, are well organized and highly motivated
  • You have the ability to work independently without supervision
