Qualifications

  • Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract.
  • Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance and overhaul work in the natural gas compression and EPG industry in the field.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and performing repairs on natural gas and diesel engines.
  • Completing technical documentation like service reports and warranty notes.

Location: various locations in Alberta

Logistics: Camp/hotel provided

Schedule: 7x7 or 14x14 continuous rotation

Provided: Fully stocked field truck

Job Description
  • Responsible for the maintenance and overhaul work in the natural gas compression and EPG industry in the field.
  • Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs, maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.
  • Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
  • Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team.
  • Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
  • Journeyperson Certification in Mechanic, Electrician, Millwright and Automotive may also be considered
  • Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience required
  • Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract.
  • Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset.
  • Team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
