Overview

Come join our Front Desk department for the 2024 summer season! At the Overlander Mountain Lodge, we offer premium staff housing at affordable rates, on-site wellness programs (including a brand-new yoga space, and on-site gym), and a beautiful location perfect for spending your summer in the great outdoors. We have flexible start/end dates available making this position perfect for students as well.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The number 1 priority is guest experience, the front desk agent needs to have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for great customer service, and a warm professional demeanor
• Respond to requests and inquiries – directions, recommendations, information, etc.
• Promptly resolve any guest complaints or issues
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest information
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Other duties as assigned, we cannot anticipate each and every task, job duties may change based on the needs of our business as well as the needs of our team

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Ability to commit to a seasonal contract
• Flexible in scheduling to meet business levels
• Highly self-motivated, with a can-do attitude that is willing to achieve excellence
• Strong teamwork skills
• Able to work in an organized and efficient manner while adhering to high-quality standards
• Valid driver’s license & access to reliable transportation (preferred, not required)

Experience

Front desk or reception experience, preferably hospitality-related

Administrative skills, event planning, customer service, etc.

Experience preferred, but not required – willing to train
