Overview

Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Salary: $22.40 to $22.92 per hour

Night Shift premium: $2.00 per hour

Note: This is a physically demanding position requiring lifting and movement up to 50 pounds (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line using a sit-down forklift (propane or electric)
• Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Review work from the previous shift and complete tasks according to priorities set by the production supervisor
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
• Be vigilant in driving to avoid accidents and damage to pedestrians, buildings, equipment, trucks, and other machinery
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits
• Outdoor work environment
• Always wear a seat belt
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
• Comply with company health and safety rules
• All other related duties

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator competency card (or renewal in progress)
• Experience as a sit-down forklift operator (minimum 1 year)
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Good attendance record
• Resourceful and punctual
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions
