Overview

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including staff training, light administration, and active floor management throughout service.

Responsibilities
  • Regularly monitor and ensure service standards are being met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, and management
  • Create a culture that revolves around exceptional guest experience and enjoyment of high-quality food and beverages
  • Support staff day to day, building positive morale while providing coaching and feedback
  • Support leadership by ensuring standard operating procedures are followed, and communicate any performance management to the Restaurant Manager
  • Demonstrate high personal integrity, business ethics, and take every opportunity to promote Eldorado Resort, restaurants, events, and activities
  • Communicate the vision and promotions to all team members during daily stand-ups prior to each service
  • Provide general administrative support for the restaurant
  • Use conflict resolution and problem-solving skills when dealing with guest complaints
  • Assist with the tracking of sales, invoicing, and managing inventory
  • Strive for maximum efficiency and continual improvement of staff productivity, and revenue maximization through reservation management
  • Additional duties as assigned or required
What are we looking for?
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high volume, fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Hospitality an asset
  • Experience with Squirrel and OpenTable considered an asset
  • WSET Intermediate Wine Certificate or comparable considered an asset
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates extreme organization in a fast-paced environment while acting as a team player
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid Serving It Right certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
