Responsibilities
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with precision and efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Deliver monthly and annual financial statements, working papers, and reports with accuracy.
  • Lead job costing and prepare work-in-progress (WIP) reports to track project profitability.
  • Design and enforce strong internal controls and accounting policies to minimize risk.
  • Implement and optimize financial systems (including ERP and payroll platforms).
  • Partner with senior leadership to guide financial strategy with clear, actionable insights.
  • Build collaborative relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and trust.
Requirements

Must Have

  • 8-10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in payroll, AR/AP, cash flow, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of job costing, WIP tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including financial modeling).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Have

  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Viewpoint Spectrum, Trimble, or similar platforms.
  • Track record of leading financial system implementations.
