Rivercity Inclusion is a large non-profit organization whose purpose is to advocate for and provide services to improve quality of life for people of all ages with support needs, their families, and caregivers.

We are looking to welcome a solutions-focused, strategic leader as our next Executive Director in Campbell River, BC. Reporting to an engaged Board of Directors, the Executive Director will serve as the public face of the society, helping to build strong connections with donors, community partners, employees, and the individuals we serve.

The Executive Director will provide overall leadership and direction for our operations, ensuring high-quality programs, a positive organizational culture, and smooth day-to-day functioning. We are looking for someone who leads with integrity, warmth, and vision—someone who values relationships, inspires teams, and embraces the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and community-minded society. This role will guide the society in the following program areas:

  • Services for Community Living (staffed living & inclusion programs)
  • Children’s Development Centre
  • Assisted Living Community
  • Affordable Housing

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in business management, social services, or a comparable combination of education and experience, along with at least five years in a senior leadership position. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in complex contract negotiation, be proficient in financial management, and human resource management within the context of collective agreements.
