Job Title : Executive Assistant To Senior Rabbi

Reports To : Senior Rabbi

Location : North York (in-person, daily)

Job Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Working Days / Hours :

  • Monday to Thursday : 9 am - 6 pm
  • Friday : 9 am - 1 pm

Salary Range : 55-75k CAD

Benefits : No

Vacation :

  • Year 1 : 10 days (2 weeks)
  • Year 2 to 5 : 15 days (3 weeks)
  • Year 6+ : 20 days (4 weeks)
  • Our employer, a dynamic Orthodox Jewish non-profit organization , is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Senior Rabbi (SR) of their Community Center of Toronto.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and assist with Fundraising activities
  • Collect Pledges
  • Manage SR’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, life cycle events, fundraising activities, deliveries, classes and travel arrangements
  • Prepare any supportive materials, agendas, and daily reports
  • Take notes and follow up on action items from internal and external meetings
  • Handle incoming correspondence and prioritize responses
  • Coordinate communication with donors
  • Maintain contact lists and ensure up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM
  • Maintain digital and physical files in an organized, accessible manner
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of SR's office
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational and personnel information
  • Ideal Candidate Will Have :

  • Appetite for taking initiative and ability to understand the spirit rather than the letter of instruction
  • Experience as an executive assistant (nonprofit preferred)
  • Experience in Fundraising activities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort with digital tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM software)
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative
  • Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
  • Bonus Skills (Not Required) :

  • Experience supporting nonprofit leadership
  • Familiarity with donor databases or fundraising software (e.g. Salesforce CRM)
  • Working knowledge of Russian and Hebrew
