Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of related work experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of mining project legislation.
  • Tailings management and project management experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee environmental compliance and management for Timmins Operations.
  • Support planning and development of projects.
  • Assist in site monitoring activities and consultations with stakeholders.

Skills

Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of municipal, federal, and provincial legislation

Education

University or College graduate in an Environmental field

Tools

Valid Class G License
Experience with boats, snow machines, and all-terrain vehicles
