Project & Program Manager, Environmental Assessments and Remediation

Are you ready to elevate your career and make a significant impact on a high-profile national program? WSP is seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our Remediation Program Management (RPM), Downstream team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with project coordinators, other project managers, project directors, technical leads, engineers, scientists, and technicians.
  • Develop technical service offers, work plans, and financial proposals.
  • Prepare tender documents and ensure they meet client expectations.
  • Interface with clients to ensure their needs are met and measure project progress and quality.
  • Plan, manage, and control projects to achieve the set technical, financial, and administrative objectives.
  • Lead field staff, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Mentor and train junior staff involved in the projects.
  • Ensure adherence to the company\'s health, safety, and quality management requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret data and review technical reports.
What We Are Looking For
  • A bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in engineering, geology, or another environmental specialty.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial regulations and best practices in environmental assessments and remediations.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across Canada.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • A safety-conscious attitude and understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
  • Fieldwork experience in environmental assessments and/or remediations.
  • A valid driver\'s license and the ability to travel from the office to work sites.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $74 000 - $95 000
