Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as the Director of Product Marketing, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Define and own Compass Digital’s product and portfolio narrative, articulating a differentiated point of view on the future of foodservice, operations, and digital enablement that resonates with executives, operators, and technical audiences.
  • Translate product strategy, capabilities, and partnerships into compelling, market-facing stories, including core messaging frameworks, value propositions, and proof points that align internal teams and external positioning.
  • Shape thought leadership and executive messaging by synthesizing industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics into high-impact content (points of view, whitepapers, research, presentations, webinars).
  • Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap storytelling, launch narratives, demos, and value articulation for new solutions and releases.
  • Enable Sales with persuasive, deal-moving narratives by building scalable systems (talk tracks, battlecards, demo flows, ROI tools, proposal narratives) aligned to buyer journeys and deal stages.
  • Establish and run a proposal and RFP center of excellence, including standardized security/IT responses, compliance narratives, and AI-enabled systems that reduce cycle time and improve win rates.
  • Drive customer advocacy and commercial proof, developing data-driven case studies, pilot stories, and sector-specific evidence that measurably influences buying decisions.
  • Lead insight, research, and competitive intelligence efforts, including win/loss analysis and field discovery, translating insights into differentiated positioning and executive-ready business cases.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Product Marketing team, setting a high bar for craft, strategic thinking, operating rhythm, and cross-functional partnership while modeling executive presence and data-informed decision-making.
