Core Responsibilities

This position entails comprehensive management of our physical facilities in Canada. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing complex cloud data center environments, possess exceptional interpersonal skills, and demonstrate ability to influence stakeholders beyond direct reporting relationships, including colocation partners.

Primary Management Accountabilities

• Lead and develop a team of 15-20 Data Center Technicians
• Oversee continuous data center operations in a 24/7 mission-critical environment
• Manage hardware installations, field change orders, and break/fix operations
• Ensure timely service delivery to meet established milestones and customer KPIs
• Collaborate across diverse functional teams including Engineering, Construction, Site Selection, and Business Operations
• Lead incident response and resolution while conducting thorough post-incident analysis
• Drive capacity expansion initiatives at all levels—from individual rack additions to complete site development
• Spearhead local recruitment efforts for future team growth
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Coordinate effectively with geographically distributed teams nationwide
• Build organizational capacity through strategic talent acquisition and recruitment
• Execute expansion initiatives on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality standards
