A leading automotive technology company in York Region, Markham, is seeking an experienced engineer specializing in embedded controls. You'll lead the development of controls designs crucial to vehicle power management and innovation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in C++ and embedded systems, coupled with experience in a cross-functional team environment. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact low voltage technology in vehicles.
This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to be onsite approximately 3 days per week.
Embedded Platform System & Infrastructure (EPSI) is a production level group that supports the definition, design, and development of all embedded controllers related to vehicle mechatronics. The Low Voltage Infrastructure (LVI) organization within EPSI focuses on the development of controls & diagnostic software centered around on-vehicle low voltage power generation, energy storage, power management, and distribution. This role is paramount to the successful review, development, simplification, integration and release of SDV2.0 controller software. There is no better time to join this domain as we evolve to the next generation of low voltage power strategy, innovation, and capability for EVs, ICE and every product GM has to offer.
We are seeking creative, highly motivated, agile thinkers with passion and expertise in embedded controls. The selected candidate will learn and modify existing and develop new innovative controls strategies, which will be at the core of all vehicles within the General Motors portfolio and essential to keeping General Motors at the forefront of low voltage related technologies.
