Compensation: $27–32/hour
Inbound Call Management: Answer calls from healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding laboratory test scheduling, results, and billing inquiries.
Test Ordering Assistance: Assist healthcare providers with test ordering and specimen collection coordination.
Patient Support: Address patient questions about test preparation, results, and insurance coverage.
Insurance Verification: Process insurance authorizations and verify patient benefits.
Data Entry: Enter patient information and test orders into laboratory computer systems.
Billing Support: Resolve billing questions and payment processing issues.
Issue Escalation: Escalate complex medical or technical questions to appropriate laboratory staff.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous call center or customer service experience strongly preferred.
Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone manner. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
