Overview

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

What you will be doing

• Create and maintain a large repository of reports/dashboards


• Coordinate with internal and/or external stakeholders to capture requirements and provide input on optimal data insights


• Use analytical techniques to inspect and sort data into a useful format and create reports and visualizations that help solve business problems


• Work with business and finance teams to build our metrics to measure the impact of changes or to better surface information to decision-makers


• Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals


• Adopt, implement, and effectively evolve report automation standards


• Performs other related duties as assigned

What you must have

• 3+ years transforming data into dashboards or other self-serve insights


• Advanced SQL: complex joins, window functions, performance tuning


• Solid grasp of data-warehouse concepts: dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions, ELT pipelines


• Hands-on with at least one modern BI/visualization platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)


• Comfortable querying large cloud-scale datasets (Snowflake or similar)


• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business narratives for non-technical stakeholders


• Experience with AWS QuickSight and DTB for data transformation is a strong asset

Salary/Rate Range: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00
